Our robotic systems include manway canons, drop leg nozzles and robotic crawlers, as well as valve-controlled shell lances. We can gain access to a tank through any available roof or side manway. AESIL’s automated cleaning devices are controlled by specialists in on-site command centers located a safe distance from the tank.

AESIL’s robust capabilities and specialized tank cleaning equipment fleet includes Tank Sweeps. These devices were designed for the de-sludging of storage tanks by the control and circulation of high velocity liquid streams through nozzles fitted to the tank shell via manways or other openings. Tank Sweeps are capable of volumes up to 2,500 gpm at 150 PSI, the nozzles can be utilized below the fluid line to aid in the movement of solids in the tank. Depending on customer requirements, material from a tank is often processed on-site to minimize waste and reduce disposal costs. AESIL offers a variety of processing techniques. Belt presses and filter presses are used to dewater aqueous sludge, while high volume decanter centrifuges are employed for oily sludge.
DHigh-speed centrifuges used by AESIL generate a force 2,000 times greater than gravity to separate solids and liquids to produce dry waste for disposal and clarified effluent ready for potential re-use.

Crew members are trained according to the highest industry standards, including 40-hour HAZWOPER and OSHA training.
